Water activities watersports Aviemore and Cairngorms

The Aviemore and the Cairngorms area is a stunning place to enjoy watersports or all types. Sailing, windsurfing, paddlesports, rafting, swiming or the excitement of gorge walking are all within easy reach of any of our local towns and villages.

The majestic river Spey flows through Loch Insh as it makes its way on its 80-mile trip to the sea. On a smaller scale the Alt Mor burn tumbles down from Cairngorm Mountain as it flows into Loch Morlich. To view wildlife from the water is a special experience, whether from the intimacy of an open canoe or the comfort of a specialist craft. Loch Insh and Loch Morlich are ideal places to see many types of wildlife in its natural environment.
